This website, latamthrives.com, is operated by LATAM THRIVES, SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA, a company registered in Guatemala with registered address Calle El Ahuehuete #17, El Monasterio, San Pedro El Panorama, Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala ("Latam Thrives", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@latamthrives.com.
2. What personal data we collect
Contact form. When you use our form we collect your name, company or organization, role, business email, country or market, the topic you are exploring and the message you write. Please do not include sensitive information in your message. To limit spam we also store a scrambled (hashed) code derived from your IP address, from which your IP address cannot be read back.
Direct communication. If you email us, we keep the correspondence and the contact details you provide.
Technical data. Our servers and hosting providers automatically record your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the time of your visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies and analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It collects your device and browser type, approximate location at country level, pages visited, time on site and a cookie identifier. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. We do not enable Google signals, user ID tracking or any advertising features, and nothing is collected until you click Accept.
Browser storage. We store your language choice and your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them on your next visit. These items contain no personal data and are necessary for the site to work as you expect.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|

| Route your request to the right specialist | Form data | Our legitimate interest in handling inquiries efficiently |
| Keep the website secure and working | Technical data | Our legitimate interest in security and reliability |
| Understand how the site is used and improve it | Analytics data | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Meet legal and accounting obligations | Contact and business records | Legal obligation |
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it for us under written agreements, and with specialists inside our network when your inquiry needs their expertise and you have asked to be connected. Our providers include Lovable (Lovable Labs Incorporated in the United States and Lovable Labs Sweden AB in Sweden), which hosts the website and provides the database and the email sending service for form notifications, together with its infrastructure subprocessors which include Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Supabase and Cloudflare, among others (the current list is published at trust.lovable.dev), and Google, which provides our business email inbox. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Ireland Limited (for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) and Google LLC (United States) also process analytics data for us through Google Analytics. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. We may also disclose data when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
5. International transfers
Latam Thrives works across Latin America, Europe and other regions, and our providers may process data outside your country. Our database is located in Frankfurt, Germany, but our providers and their subprocessors may access it from other countries. When we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Google may process analytics data in the United States, and relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where needed, Standard Contractual Clauses for those transfers.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep contact form data and related correspondence for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a business relationship develops, in which case we keep it for the length of the relationship and the period required by law. Technical logs are kept for as long as our hosting provider needs them to run and secure the service, and longer when it investigates a security incident. Copies of inquiries in our email inbox are deleted on the same schedule as the form data. Google Analytics user data is kept for up to 14 months after your last visit and detailed event data for 2 months. Your language and cookie choices stay in your browser until you clear them, and your cookie choice is asked again after 12 months.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@latamthrives.com. We will answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the European Union you can find yours on the European Data Protection Board website.
8. Local laws in Latin America
We respect the data protection laws that apply to the people we work with, including Brazil's LGPD, Panama's Law 81 of 2019, Mexico's federal data protection law, Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and similar rules in other countries. The rights above apply to you wherever you are, and if your local law gives you additional rights we will honor them.
9. Security
We protect personal data with encryption in transit, access controls and secure hosting. No online service is completely secure, so please contact us right away if you believe your data has been compromised.
10. Children
This website is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Our site may link to third party websites such as event pages or publications. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and for important changes we will make the update clear on the website.
