1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies such as local storage work the same way, and we refer to all of them as cookies.
2. How we use them
We use two items of browser storage that the site needs to work. They remember your language choice and your cookie choice, and they do not require consent. We use Google Analytics cookies only if you click Accept in our banner, and nothing from Google loads before that.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| latam-thrives-language | Local storage | Remembers English or Spanish | No expiry, stays until you clear your browser data | No, necessary |
| latam-thrives-consent | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, with the date | 12 months, then the banner asks again | No, necessary |
| _ga | First party cookie, Google Analytics 4 | Tells visitors apart | 2 years | Yes, only after Accept |
| _ga_ZMP0ZH0Y3J | First party cookie, Google Analytics 4 | Keeps track of your visit session | 2 years | Yes, only after Accept |
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies for marketing.
3. Managing your choices
You can accept or reject optional cookies in the banner when you first visit, and change your mind at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site may then not work as expected.
4. More information
How we handle personal data collected through cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy. For questions write to info@latamthrives.com.
